Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before we get started. Don't see your answer? Just ask.

✦ Getting Started

It starts with a quick conversation — by form, text, or call — so I can understand what you need. From there I'll send you a proposal with pricing and a timeline. Once you give the go-ahead and put down a deposit, I get to work. Most sites are ready for your review within a week or two. You give feedback, I make adjustments, and we launch. Simple as that.

Not even a little. That's what I'm here for. You bring the business — the story, the services, the vibe — and I handle everything technical. I'll explain anything you want to understand, or I can just take care of it and keep you updated along the way. Either way works.

Head to the Contact page and fill out the form — it takes about two minutes. You can also text or call directly if that's easier. I try to respond within 24 hours, usually faster.

✦ Pricing & Payment

It depends on what you need, but here's the honest range:

  • Starter Site — $80–100 (single page, contact form, hosting)
  • Growth Package — $200–300 (up to 5 pages, SEO, booking calendar)
  • Full Business Package — $400–600 (logo, branding, email marketing, Google Business)
  • Complete Digital Transformation — $800–1,500+ (everything, custom quote)

Sliding scale and hardship rates are available starting at $50 — just ask. I'd rather work something out than see a good business go without a website.

I typically ask for a deposit upfront to hold your spot, with the remainder due when the site is ready to launch. For larger projects we can work out a payment plan. I accept payment via Stripe (card), Zelle, or Cash App.

The main recurring cost is your domain name — usually around $10–15/year. Hosting on GitHub Pages is free. If you want me to continue managing the site, updating content, or handling SEO, I offer monthly maintenance retainers starting at $40–60/month. Totally optional — some clients handle their own updates just fine.

✦ The Website

Yes — every site I build is fully mobile responsive. That means it looks good and works correctly on phones, tablets, and desktops. Since most people browse on their phones these days, this isn't optional — it's standard.

Every site I build includes basic SEO — proper title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, and alt text on images. I also offer Google Business Profile setup so you show up in local searches. Getting to the top of Google takes time, but you'll be set up correctly from day one. Monthly SEO retainers are available if you want to actively grow your search rankings.

Yes. I'll walk you through how to make basic edits if you want to learn. If you'd rather just send me a message whenever something needs to change, I'm happy to handle it — that's what the maintenance retainer covers. No judgment either way; some clients love learning, others just want it handled.

✦ Working Together

Absolutely. Everything except photography can be done remotely. I work with clients across the country — we communicate by email, text, or video call, and I share previews via link so you can see exactly how the site looks before anything goes live.

Most sites are ready for review within 1–2 weeks of receiving your deposit and content (photos, text, logo, etc.). Larger or more complex projects may take 3–4 weeks. The main thing that affects the timeline is how quickly we can get content together — the faster you send me your info, the faster we can launch.

Every package includes revision rounds — you'll always have a chance to give feedback before the site goes live. I want you to love it. If something isn't right, tell me specifically what to change and I'll fix it. I don't take feedback personally; this is your business and it needs to represent you well.

✦ About Faery Tech

Faery Tech is run by Madyson Moore — a web developer, digital designer, and small business advocate currently working remotely across the country. My background spans customer service, tech support, game design, content creation, and administrative roles. I hold a Bachelor's in History and an Associate's in Biology, which means I approach problems from every angle.

I'm currently completing my web development education through Code Temple bootcamp while building real client projects. Faery Tech started as a gamertag — fairies connect me to my mom, my childhood in Alabama, mushroom rings and fireflies and wonder. That's still what it's about.

Every site is custom-coded — no templates, no drag-and-drop builders, no cookie-cutter results. I work with clients who are often overlooked by bigger agencies: small businesses, nonprofits, first-timers, people who have a great idea but not a big budget.

I also believe in ethical business. I partner only with brands I believe in. I advertise only what I'd recommend to a friend. And ad revenue across the Faery Tech network gets reinvested into animal shelters, eco initiatives, and free web services for people who need them. Profit and purpose were never opposites.

A few things I take seriously in how I run this business:

  • Ecological responsibility — I partner with eco-friendly brands and direct a portion of revenue toward environmental initiatives.
  • Animal welfare — Special rates for rescue organizations and animal shelters, always.
  • Economic equality — Sliding-scale pricing means a business idea and a dream are enough to get started. No one gets left behind.
  • Community first — The long-term goal is a network where local businesses support each other, not just compete.
